BOWI

Aims to transfer knowledge in the specific activities of the 10 DIHs in the project. In this project Transilvania DIH collaborates with the largest DIHs in the EU such as: TNO, VTT, RWTH and other DIHs in neighboring countries.

DIH squared

This project represent the largest pan-European network of Digital Innovation Hubs funded by the H2020 program and aims to support SMEs in Europe by providing robotics and automation solutions in manufacturing companies, providing them with services such as: “Test Before Invest ”, Funding opportunities, the development of an innovative ecosystem and courses / trainings for the acquisition of technical digitization skills.

Enterprise Europe Network

Through the project we offer internationalization services and opportunities for partnerships, financing and cooperation to SMEs in the North-West region. This project covers the activity of internationalization and organization of networking events for SMEs.

Cluj Future of Work

The purpose of the project is to create a working ecosystem for current and future jobs in the city with the design of a technologically, secure, ethical and sustainable future. The aim of the project is to develop strategic skills for business digitization, managerial and strategic skills for business owners and employees exposed to automation phenomena and the creation of new value chains for existing and emerging digitization-based industries.

Better Factory

Better Factory provides a methodology for manufacturing SMEs to collaborate with artists to develop new and personalized products. At the same time, it supplies technology for SMEs to become cyber-physical systems, transforming them into Lean-agile production facilities capable of manufacturing new and personalized products along with existing ones.

INTRIDE

Soft, Digital and Green Skills for Smart Designers: Designers as Innovative Triggers for SMEs in the manufacturing sector.
INTRIDE is leading the creation of a strong link and continuous interaction among HEIs (Higher Education Institutions), industry and intermediaries by developing a joint curriculum of the designer with soft, digital and green skills conceived as innovation trigger in activating innovation processes and managing the collaboration eco-system.

Furniture Go International

FGOI will create an European Strategic Cluster Partnership that will intensify cross-regional cluster cooperation in furniture and related industries, within EU and towards four third countries, namely USA, Canada, South Africa and Egypt. The Partnership will be a promoter of industrial and business growth, it will support the excellence, entrepreneurship, transferability, and mutual trust between clusters and the SMEs they represent.

8xS3 = Intelligent Romania

Three of the clusters active in the region of Transylvania, Transylvanian Furniture Cluster, Transylvania IT Cluster and Agro Transylvania Cluster, answered the desires expressed by the companies they represent by creating this project, as a platform on which they learn the process for elaboration of alternative public policies, whose aim is supporting the competitiveness and innovation of the economic environment in the country.

Partener StartUp

Project for the development of the entrepreneurial competences and supporting the business initiatives in the North-West region of Romania, implemented by the Transylvanian Furniture Cluster, in partnership with CIVITTA, ARIES Transylvania, AgroTransylvania Cluster, Impact HUB Bucharest, University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine in Cluj-Napoca and the University in Oradea. It is aiming at supporting start-up entrepreneurs through courses, training, mentorship and grants.

Development of Transylvanian Furniture Cluster through research and innovation services

The research project aimed at ensuring the sustainability of the cluster through development of management capacity of the research-development-innovation (RDI) projects, development of a new product (static-dynamic chair) at cluster level, as well as supply of support services for the internationalization of the TFC members.

Transylvanian Furniture Cluster – Innovative Cluster of European Interest

Through this project the laboratories infrastructure of the cluster was created in partnership with cluster member companies. Additionally, the project has an internationalization component in order to increase the cluster visibility both at national and international level, accessing markets in Europe, Asia and Africa, as well as supporting the members for the purpose of entering in and developing relations specific to their activity in various target markets.

AgroTransilvania Cluster-Innovative cluster specialized in the field of bioeconomy

Through this project, AgroTransilvania Cluster created a local scientific and technological partnership. Through this partnership, AgroTransilvania has created 7 laboratories within this project: Laboratory for the control and safe of milk and dairy products, Laboratory for the control and safe of meat and meat products, Laboratory of instrumental analysis, Laboratory for genomics, Laboratory for determining bio- geographical authenticity and origin, Laboratory for the control and safe of animal feeds, Laboratory for determining the micotoxins / allergens from food and for developing the natural food colorants.

„Rural Renaissance – Fostering innovation and business opportunities” -PANACEA

Starting with November 2017, AgroTransilvania Cluster is part of a consortium of 16 international partners, with an allocated budget of 19,000 euros, funded by Horizon 2020, Call: H2020-RUR-2016-2017, Type of action: CSA (Coordination and support action). PANACEA aims to set up a thematic network to promote effective exchange between research, industry and the farming community, so that directly applicable solutions can be widely disseminated. Basic needs and innovative ideas are captured in detail to design the path for non-food crops to penetrate European agriculture.

Food in Eco Network – internationalization and global competitiveness of European SMEs in the Food and Eco Logistics Sector – FoodNet

of the FoodNet project, financed by COSME, call COS-CLUSINT-2016-03-01, Topic COSME-2016-CLUSTER-1A support the establishment of European Strategic Cluster Partnership – Going International (ESCP-4i). Consortium for project implementation was formed by 5 partners, and the budget allocated to AgroTransilvania Cluster had the value of 43,185.20 euros. The project aims to develop a value chain model that ensures cooperation between SMEs in food groups. This cooperation concerned the transfer and knowledge (technological and non-technological) and their exploitation, as well as the activities of exploration, emphasizing their collection and practical use.

TRACK

Starting with October 2018, AgroTransilvania Cluster was involved in the implementation TRACK project, as part of a consortium of 5 partners, funded by COSME, call: COS-CLUSTPARTNS-2017-3-02 (European Strategic Cluster Partnership for smart specialization investments), Type of action: COSME-GA (Grant agreement). The allocated budget AgroTransilvania Cluster had in this project was 44,020 euros. TRACK aims to create an ecosystem favorable interregional to stimulate the matching of new innovative solutions with the requirements specific aspects of the agri-food chain, through investments associated with industry advanced food 4.0.

Developing quantum information and quantum technologies in Romania (QUTECH-RO)

QUTECH-RO was a complex project (PCCDI) realized by a five-partner consortium. The main objective of the project was to develop quantum information and quantum technologies in Romania, such that the Romanian quantum community can actively participate in the Quantum Flagship.

Quantum computation with Schrodinger cat states (QuCOS)

QuCOS is an international project whose main objective is to demonstrate the scalability of cat codes to perform universal and fault-tolerant quantum computation. The first goal of the project is to build a semi-protected qubit, i.e. a qubit that suffers from bit flips, but with almost no phase flips.
